Here are a few of my favorite tools. They are all free and can be downloaded from their manufacturer's website.

SPYWARE TOOLS:

Malwarebytes - This is a great tool for removing spyware and malware from your computer.

  

ANTIVIRUS SOFTWARE:

 AVG Free Edition - This is a free antivirus software that has spyware protection built-in.

Microsoft Security Essentials - This a very good, not to mention free antivirus from Microsoft. Give it a try, you won't be disappointed.

 

CD/DVD BURNING TOOLS:

ImgBurn - Use this software to burn your images files, etc. to CD/DVD

 

USEFUL TOOLS:

 7-Zip - This is a free alternative to winzip.

 Adobe Flash Player - This is a player that is required to be installed on your computer in order to play most online videos such as Youtube, etc.

 Java Runtime Environment - Java is a software application that is also required for many of your online activities.
